Time of Iran's Revenge in Hands of Resistance Forces: Top Judge
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran’s Judiciary Chief Seyed Ebrahim Raeisi said the time and location of revenge for Iran’s top anti-terror commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, who was killed by the US in Jan. 2020, will be in control of resistance forces.
“The time and location (of the revenge) will be determined by resistance forces,” Raeisi said on Friday in an address to a ceremony marking the first anniversary of General Soleimani's martyrdom.
The Judiciary chief said the definite expulsion of Americans from the region will be one of the manifestations of the harsh revenge.
Raisi said the enemy must know that life will get very difficult for it from now on, and the perpetrators of the assassination won't be safe anywhere in the world.
The US president will not be immune to the administration of justice. The enemy should not think that the US president would enjoy a margin of safety after ordering the crime, he added.
He further noted that the enemy must await Iran’s harsh revenge.
Lieutenant General Soleimani and his Iraqi comrade Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Units, were assassinated along with their companions in a US terror drone strike authorized by Trump near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.
