Iran Finishes 12th in 2021 Volleyball Nations League
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran finished in 12th place in the 2021 Volleyball Nations League on Wednesday.
Team Melli suffered its eighth loss in a row against in the tournament and 10th loss in total in the competition held in Rimini, Italy.
In its 15th and last match, Iran was defeated against Argentina 3-1 (33-31, 25-23, 30-32, 25-18).
Iran lost 10 matches in the competition and won just five games.
Brazil, France, Poland and Slovenia advanced to the semifinals as the top four teams.
On Friday, Brazil will play France, while Poland meet Slovenia to determine which teams will qualify for the final match.
