Lebanon Loses to Al-Shamal in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Lebanon football team was defeated against Qatari club Al-Shamal in a friendly match.
Ivan Hasek’s team lost to the Qatari side 1-0 in its training camp in Turkey.
Lebanon is in Group A of the 2022 World Cup qualifications Round 3 along with Iran, Iraq, Syria, South Korea and the UAE.
Lebanon will begin the campaign with a match against the UAE on September 2 at the Zabeel Stadium in Dubai.
