President Dismisses Hostile Threats, Highlights Iran’s Military Power

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi shrugged off enemy threats, saying foreign military officials acknowledge the Islamic Republic’s great defense capabilities that have been inspiring for the Muslim world and the Islamic Republic’s friends.

In a meeting with the Defense Ministry officials on Monday, Raisi warned the enemies of the Islamic Republic who allow themselves to issue threats against Iran in spite of its massive defense capabilities.

“Today, the Islamic Republic is stronger than ever and our enemies are weaker than ever before,” the president said, adding that the defense achievements of the Iranian scientists have turned the country into an influential power in the region and the world.

Reminding the enemies that Iran is determined to continue its military advances, he said the hands of the arrogant powers will be cut off from the region, which belongs to independent and freedom-seeking nations.

The innovation and creativity of the local experts of the defense industry have created power for Iran, in such a way that military officials in the world admit that the Islamic Republic’s defense industry has made great progress, Raisi stated.

He went on to say that the achievements of the Iranian defense industry experts have been inspiring for the friends of the Islamic Revolution and undesirable for the enemies.

In a message on Sunday, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri said Iran has reached such a high level of expertise in the defense industry that major world powers are willing to acquire its achievements.

Iranian officials have repeatedly underscored that the country will not hesitate to strengthen its military capabilities, including its missile power, which are entirely meant for defense, and that Iran’s defense capabilities will be never subject to negotiations.
