Iran Runner-Up at 2022 CAFA U-14 Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran finished in second place at the 2022 CAFA U-14 Championship.
The Iranian team lost to Afghanistan and Tajikistan and defeated Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan in the competition.
Host Tajikistan won the title with four wins.
The 2022 CAFA U-14 Championship was the 7th edition of the CAFA Youth Championship, the international youth football championship organized by CAFA for the men's under-14 national teams of Central Asia.
The tournament was held from November 9 to 19 in Hisor., Tajikistan.
