Iran U-20 Victorious over Oman in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran U-20 football team defeated Oman U-20 1-0 in Muscat, the capital of Oman in a friendly match on Sunday.
Hossein Hajizadeh scored the only goal of the match in the 62nd minute.
The match was held as part of preparation for the AFC U-20 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2023, which will be held in March 2023 in Uzbekistan.
Samad Marfavi’s boys are drawn in Group C along with Qatar, Vietnam and Australia.
Former Iran and Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic attended the match.
