Team Melli will compete in the tournament as part of preparation for the 2023 IHF Men’s World Championship, which will be held in Poland and Sweden from January 11 to 29.
Iran will meet Poland on January 4 and play Belgium and Morocco in the following days.
Veselin Vujovic’s team will also play a friendly match with South Korea on January 8.
Iran has been drawn along with Chile, Spain and Montenegro in Group A.
The Persians will meet Chile on January 12 in their opener.
