Iran Starts 2023 IIHF World Championship Division III on High
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Malaysia 14-4 Monday in its opening match in the 2023 IIHF World Championship Division III Monday night.
Team Melli is drawn in Group B along with host Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hong Kong, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia and Singapore.
Iran will play Hong Kong on Tuesday.
Group A consists of Turkmenistan, Chinese Taipei, South Africa, Luxembourg and Thailand.
The Group A tournament will be held in Cape Town, South Africa from 17 to 23 April.
The 2023 IIHF World Championship Division III is an international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation.
