Iran Beaten by Chinese Taipei at 2023 Asian Women’s U-16 Volleyball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Chinese Taipei 3-0 (25-15, 25-10, 25-15) in Pool F of the 2023 Asian Women’s U-16 Volleyball Championship.
Middle blockers Ma Te-jung and Wu Tzu-hua bagged nine points apiece for the winning side, while Laya Afzouni scored six points for Iran.
Iran will lock horn with Macau on Thursday for fifth place.
The competition is being held in Hangzhou, China from July 1 to 8.
