Iran’s Dehbozorgi Wins Bronze at U-20 World Wrestling Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Amir Reza Dehbozorgi claimed a bronze medal at the U-20 World Wrestling Championships 2023 on Sunday.
The Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler defeated Saifulla Kurman from Kazakhstan 9-0 in the 60kg bronze medal match.
Armenian Suren Aghajaniayn defeated Sumit Sumit from India in the gold medal match.
The 2023 U-20 World Championships started in Amman, Jordan on August 14 and will run until August 20.
Iran’s freestyle team won the title with 165 points, followed by the US and India with 152 and 102 points, respectively.
