Israeli Forces Accused of War Crime after Sharing 'Doctored' Video (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has shared a "doctored" video that depicts a "deeply disturbing potential war crime" by Israel.

World

According to the monitor, Israeli forces "posted a doctored video alleging the elimination of combatants." They added, "But their own footage shows said individuals unarmed, raising their hands and kneeling down to surrender before executing them from the back."

The monitor further stated, "The crime scene has then been doctored, and assault rifles appear to have been added to the bodies. These individuals may have been civilians who crossed the fence after its collapse. Their killing as they surrendered is an act of extrajudicial execution that constitutes a war crime."

With more than 970 Palestinians killed in five days of intense bombing and 2.4 million Palestinians trapped amid an Israeli land, sea, and air blockade, many Western nations have refrained from calling on Israel to curb its forceful military response.
