Iran, Qatar Review Initiatives for Peace in Gaza

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The foreign ministers of Iran and Qatar discussed diplomatic efforts and initiatives to end the Israeli regime’s military strikes against Gaza.

In a telephone conversation on Tuesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and his Qatari counterpart Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani talked about the latest developments related to Palestine and the ongoing Zionist onslaught against Gaza.

The two senior diplomats exchanged views on the current status of diplomatic efforts and initiatives to halt the aggressive attacks of the Israeli regime against the Gaza Strip.

Voicing concern about the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the dire humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave, they emphasized the urgent need to halt the Israeli war crimes and provide immediate aid to the displaced Palestinian people.

More than 11,300 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza since October 7.

The Zionist forces have raided al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, the largest medical complex in the Strip, where thousands have taken shelter.
