Esteghlal Held by Zob Ahan in IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team was held to a 1-1 draw by Zob Ahan in the 2023-24 Iran Professional League (IPL) on Saturday.
Armin Sohrabian was on target for Esteghlal in the 62nd minute in Isfahan’s Fooladshahr Stadium but Zob Ahan forward Majid Aliyari leveled the score in the 76th minute
Earlier in the day, Tractor earned a 2-0 win over Foolad in Tabriz and Shams Azar and Gol Gohar shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in Qazvin.
Esteghlal leads the IPL table with 23 points. Malavan and Zob Ahan sit second and third place with 19points.
