Iran Football Delegation Arrives in Ashgabat
TEHRAN (Tasnim)– The Iran national football team delegation arrived in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, on Sunday night.
Team Melli will play against Turkmenistan in Group E of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at the Ashgabat Stadium on Tuesday.
On Thursday, Amir Ghalenoei’s Iran defeated Turkmenistan 5-0 in Tehran.
Iran currently sits at the top of the group with seven points.
