Iran’s NOC President Khosravi Vafa Meets French Ambassador
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Head of Iran's National Olympic Committee (NOC) Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa met France's ambassador to Tehran Nicolas Roche on Tuesday.
The meeting was held at Iran’s NOC headquarters in order to make arrangements for Iran’s participation at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
“I am confident that Paris will organize this Olympics well and also I am confident the city will organize one of the best opening ceremonies,” Khosravi Vafa said.
“Iran has so far secured 22 spots in the Olympics and it is expected that we will earn another 10 to 20 quotas,” he added.
