Tasnim on Tuesday debunked the media stories quoting Spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmaeil Baqaei as saying that the indirect nuclear negotiations between Iran and the US have been called off.
Tasnim has verified that the Foreign Ministry spokesperson has not made any new comments about the negotiations and the rumors about the cancellation of the talks are totally fabricated.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on Sunday that the timing and location of the next round of nuclear talks between Iran and the US have been determined and will be announced soon.
Iran and the US have held four rounds of talks since April 12, mediated by Oman, with the purpose of reaching a deal on Iran’s nuclear program and the removal of sanctions on Tehran.
