Iran Judiciary Chief Vows Decisive Punishment for Rioters

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei said the punishment for rioters will be decisive.

Politics

Undoubtedly, the rioters who disrupted the security of people with their actions and caused the bereavement of some families will see the result of their actions very soon, Mohseni Ejei said in a message on Friday.

Noting that an ultimatum had been issued earlier about the recent riots and seditions given the exploitations by the enemies, he stressed that the punishment for rioters and saboteurs will be decisive and without any leniency.

Violent rioters favoring monarchy vandalized public and private properties in a number of cities across Iran on Thursday night, killing some ordinary people and security forces and inflicting injuries on others.

The violent unrest that erupted in a number of Iranian cities caused damages to government buildings, private shops, and even mosques.

The rioters backing monarchy vandalized public properties, blocked streets, attacked the administrative buildings and Police stations, and injured a number of security and law enforcement forces.
