Asian Women's Volleyball Championship: Iran Defeats India
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran started the 2015 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship campaign with a 3-1 win over India.
Team Melli beat India 3-1 (20-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-21) in Pool A in Tianjin, China.
Iran had to play Fiji on Thursday but the team has withdrawn from the competition.
Iran will play China on Friday.
Excluding Japan, the top three teams will participate in World Olympic Qualification Tournament.
