Senior Hezbollah Figure Lauds Palestinian Resistance
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Deputy Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement Sheikh Naim Qassem commended the resistance of young Palestinians against Israel’s oppression and aggressions.
Today, the Palestinian Resistance has bewildered Israelis, Sheikh Qassem said Tuesday, addressing a mourning ceremony in Baalbek, eastern Lebanon.
Some believed that Palestinians born after Oslo and Camp David agreements would feel no loyalty to Palestine, the Hezbollah figure noted.
However, he added, recent developments in Palestine indicated how well Palestinian teenagers and youth fight against the Zionist regime.
Deputy head of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, said last Saturday that a new Intifada had started following clashes on Gaza's border earlier that day, in which Israeli forces shot dead seven Palestinians and injured more than 145 others.
