Iran Overpowers Norway at Deaf Futsal World Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran brushed Norway aside 8-0 in the 2015 Deaf Futsal World Cup on Tuesday.
The Iranian futsal team, who has defeated Japan 6-3, Algeria 11-1 and the Switzerland 8-0 in its previous matches, will play Russia in Group B on Wednesday.
Also, the Iranian women’s team lost to world champion Brazil 5-3 in Group D. Iran has been scheduled to face Japan on Wednesday.
A total of 26 teams from 20 countries are competing in the events, which are in progress in Bangkok, Thailand.
Men’s event consists of 11 teams and 15 teams are participating in the women’s event.
