Iran Wins China Futsal International Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran finished in first place at the China Futsal International Tournament after being held by China.
On Sunday at the Changshu Sports Center, the Iranian team was held to a 3-3 draw by the host and claimed the title with seven points in the four-a-side tournament.
Iran had defeated Myanmar 15-2 in its opening match on Friday.
The Asian powerhouse also beat Mexico 5-1 on Saturday.
The Iranian national team participated in the event with a mixture of young and experienced players.
Iran prepares for the 2016 AFC Futsal Championship which will be held in Uzbekistan from February 10 to 21.
