Yemeni Forces Kill over 60 Saudi Servicemen Since May

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Yemeni army and popular committees have killed 62 Saudi troops in border regions in recent months in retaliation for continued acts of aggression by the Saudi-led coalition.

In latest clashes between the Yemeni forces Saudi forces, three Saudi troops were killed in the southern border areas, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Hence, the number of Saudi troops killed in Yemeni attacks since May 10 reached 62.

Yemeni forces have also intensified their artillery attacks against the Saudi mercenaries in recent weeks.

The attacks by the Yemeni forces are carried out in retaliation for the continued massacre of civilians by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen.

Since March 25, 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive former president.

According to Yemen’s Legal Center of Rights and Development, the Saudi campaign has claimed the lives of over 12,000 Yemenis and left more than 20,000 others wounded.
