Saman Ghoddos Faces Dilemma over His International Career
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Saman Ghoddos has to choose to play for Sweden national football team or Iran.
After Ghoddos announced he is ready to play for his motherland country Iran, Swedish football officials have shown green light to invite the player to their national team.
Ghoddos has yet to play for Team Melli and now can join Sweden national football team.
"I need to take a tough decision and it’s better to say the toughest decision in my life. They shocked me,” Ghoddos told Aftonbladet.
“I'll make the decision that suits me very well. I cannot think about what everyone else thinks, but I have to think about myself,” the 24-year-old striker added.
“I am born and educated in Sweden, but it's a hard decision. I'll explain about that soon,” Ghoddos added.
