Rescued Syrians from ISIL Captivity Re-Unite with Families in Sweida (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Syrian state media reported that at least nineteen hostages rescued by army from Daesh (ISIS or ISIL) terrorists’ captivity in central Syria and returned home to the southern Syrian city of Sweida on Friday.

Fifteen children and four women were welcomed by their relatives. They were freed during a military operation carried out near Palmyra, according to Head of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of the Opposing Sides in Syria, Vladimir Savchenko.

The freed civilians were captured by ISIL in July in Sweida province.
