Attack on Iranian MP’s Car Injures Driver
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Unknown motorcyclists attacked the car of Iranian lawmaker Ahmad Salek in Tehran on Sunday, injuring the driver.
Speaking to Tasnim, Salek said his car was attacked by unidentified bikers on Sunday evening, noting that his driver has been shot in the leg and undergone surgery.
He has recovered from the injury, said the cleric who represents the city of Isfahan in the Parliament.
The 73-year-old cleric has been elected to the Iranian Parliament for five terms.
