Pars Jonoubi to Withdraw from Iran Professional League

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Pars Jonoubi football club is going to withdraw from the Iran Professional League.

The Iranian team will pull out of the competition because of financial reasons.

Pars Jonoubi, commonly known as Pars Jonoubi Jam, is a football club based in Jam, Bushehr.

It was promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League in 2016–17 season.

The club is owned and supported by the PSEEZ (Pars Special Energy Economic Zone) and is named after the South Pars Gas Field.

PSEEZ is not going to support the team.

Pars Jonoubi sits 13th with seven points from eight matches.
