Persepolis Cancels Training Camp in Qatar
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team of Iran has called off plans to go to Qatar for a winter training camp.
Inspection Organization of Iran has requested the Iranian clubs to cancel their camps due to financial problems.
Persepolis, who was going to meet Qatari clubs Al Shahania and Al Wakrah in its training camp, announced that the training camp has been canceled.
The Iranian team will be seen in action in the 2020 AFC Champions League in February where it will face Al Taawoun of Saudi Arabia, Al Duhail of Qatar and Sharjah FC of United Arab Emirates in the group stages.
