Mojtaba Sarasiaei Steps Down from Coaching Shahr Khodro
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mojtaba Sarasiaei announced his resignation as Shahr Khodro football team coach on Wednesday.
He was appointed as the Iranian top-flight team’s coach in January, replacing Yahya Golmohammadi in the Mashhad-based football club.
Golmohammadi parted ways with Shahr Khodro to take charge of Persepolis.
Shahr Khodro, under leadership of Sarasiaei, sits third in the Iran Professional League and has a chance of booking a place in next year’s AFC Champions League.
The club has yet to react to Sarasiaei’s resignation.
