Persepolis Dismisses Interest in Signing Shoja Khalilzadeh
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football club has dismissed interest in signing Al-Rayyan defender Shoja Khalilzadeh.
Media reports suggested that Khalilzadeh has shown interest in returning to Persepolis.
The 32-year-old defender left Persepolis in October to join the Qatari club ahead of the 2020 AFC Champions League final in December.
His move outragede Persepolis fans since the Iranian team lost to Ulsan Hyundai of South Korea 2-1 in the final match.
Persepolis’ executive director Ebrahim Shakouri said that they are not going to sign the player in the summer.
