Iran’s Aminzadeh Earns Two Golds at 2022 Asia Oceania Open Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Para powerlifter Ahmad Aminzadeh claimed two gold medals in the Men's over 107kg of the 2022 Asia Oceania Open Championships on Saturday.
He won the gold medal with a personal best lift of 256kg.
He also seized the gold for lifting 760kg in total.
Uzbekistan’s Doston Abdusattarov won the silver with 614kg and the bronze medal went to Ahmed Khamis Alblooshi with 575kg.
The 2022 Asia Oceania Open Championships are taking place on June 15-20 in Pyeongtaek, South Korea. The event showcases 231 athletes from 33 countries.
It’s the first of four Regional Championships in the 2022 Para powerlifting season followed by the Americas, Africa, and European Open Championships.
