Women’s Beach Relay Takes Silver at 2022 Lifesaving World Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s women’s beach relay team consists of Kajan Rostami, Ravis Shahabi, Faezeh Ashoorpour and Elham Kakoli won a silver medal in the 2022 Lifesaving World Championships on Friday.
The Iranian women team was defeated by Egypt in Final A of the competition.
The championships had originally been due to take place in Riccione in September/October 2020, but were postponed in March 2020 due to the global disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Iran has sent 10 male and female competitors to the 2022 Lifesaving World Championships.
The competition is being held in Riccione, Italy from September 18 to October 3.
