Syria Denounces Failed Attack on Iran’s Military Site
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Syrian government condemned a recent drone attack on an Iranian military facility in Isfahan.
In a statement released on Monday, the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry of Syria expressed solidarity with Iran and called for those responsible to be held accountable for this "cowardly act."
According to the Iranian Defense Ministry, three drones targeted a military industrial complex in Isfahan on Sunday. One drone was shot down by air defense fire while the other two were caught in defensive traps and exploded.
The failed attack threatens regional safety and stability, the Syrian statement said.
Syria stands with Iran's leadership, government, army and people in facing any provocations targeting the country's security and prosperity, the statement added.
