Nuseirat refugee camp takes its name from a local Bedouin tribe and is located in the central Gaza Strip. Before Israel’s war on Gaza, it had been a densely populated camp, home to 85,409 Palestine refugees registered with UNRWA.
Despite repeated acts of aggression, Gaza's residents remain resilient as they face the harsh reality of daily life amidst the constant threat of Israeli violence and devastation. Since October 7, Israeli attacks on Gaza have killed at least 35,173 people and injured 79,061.
