People of Tehran are going to converge on Enqelab Square at 2 pm local time today to condemn the violent unrest, armed attacks by rioters, killing of people, acts of vandalism, attacks on military, administrative and medical centers, desecration of mosques, and burning of copies of the Quran.

The same massive popular demonstrations in support of the Islamic Republic are scheduled to be held in all provincial capitals and other cities across the country.

Violent rioters favoring monarchy vandalized public and private properties in a number of cities across Iran in recent days, killing some ordinary people and security forces and inflicting injuries on others.

The rioters backing monarchy vandalized public properties, blocked streets, attacked the administrative buildings and Police stations, and injured a number of security and law enforcement forces.
