Commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizade said the West’s insistence that Iran’s ballistic missiles become a subject of negotiations is a testimony to the country’s good capabilities in that sphere.
“They (westerners) would deny Iran such capability if they could. But our missile power is non-negotiable,” the commander stressed.
He made the comments on the sidelines of a ceremony held in Tehran to pay tribute to Brigadier General Hassan Tehrani-Moqaddam, the father of Iran's missile program.
Heaping praise on Tehrani-Moqaddam for his efforts to boost Iran’s missile capability, Hajizade said the country has now gained self-sufficiency in designing and manufacturing different types of missiles.
