Iran Comes 6th in FIBA U-18 Asian Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran finished in sixth place at the FIBA Under-18 Asian Championship on Saturday.
The Iranian team lost to Japan 58-60 in Nonthaburi, Thailand and came in sixth place.
Australia claimed the title after defeating New Zealand 72-63.
China secures third place with a 76-57 win over the Philippines.
Australia, New Zealand, China and the Philippines qualified for the 2019 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup.
