Iran Defeats Senegal at Nation's Cup 2023
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran's national beach soccer team defeated Senegal 5-1 in its opening match of the 2023 Nation's Cup on Friday.
The match was held at the Nova arena in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Team Melli will meet the UAE on Saturday in the four-nation tournament, which started on July 21 and will run through July 23.
Iran will face host Russia on Sunday.
Iran prepares for the 2023 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, which will be held in Dubai, the UAE from February 15 to 25.
