An expert-level meeting was held with the participation of the representatives from the ministries of energy, foreign affairs, roads and urban development, sports and youth affairs, IRIB, and Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) in line with following up the paragraphs envisioned in a memorandum of understanding inked at the 16th Iran-Tajikistan Joint Economic Cooperation Commission.
According to the MoU, representatives of the Iran Water Research Institute will be dispatched to Tajikistan to help in providing the hydraulic model of the Roghun Diversion Dam, IRNA reported.
In this session, the participants presented suggestions for the expansion of cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan in various fields, including the dispatching of the representatives of the Water Research Institute to Tajikistan for the provision of the hydraulic model of Roghun Diversion Dam and Water Intake Tunnel.
